6th December Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Death Anniversary

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice, passed away on 6th December 1956. This day is observed as Mahaparinirvan Diwas, honoring his immense contributions to equality, human rights, and the upliftment of marginalized communities.

On this day, millions gather at Chaitya Bhoomi in Mumbai and across the nation to pay homage to his legacy. It is a time to reflect on his vision for an inclusive society and reaffirm our commitment to justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Dr. Ambedkar’s life and work continue to inspire generations to strive for a better, fairer world.

Babasaheb Ambedkar had done a very spectacular work for the upliftment of drown trodden people of India.

He was the greatest son of India as he always done the remarkable work for the betterment of Country. He had devoted his life for all sector of people including women of every religion of the country.

Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar had twice became a member of the Parliament of India representing Bombay State in the Rajya Sabha*, the upper house of the Indian parliament.
His first term as a Rajya Sabha member was between 3 April 1952 and 2 April 1956, and his second term was to be held from 3 April 1956 to 2 April 1962, but before the expiry of the term, he died on 6 December 1956.
