The Ambedkarite Buddhist Association of Texas (ABAT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Ambedkarite Buddhism through the principles of Educate, Agitate, Organize. Established in 2004 by a group of Ambedkarite families in Texas, ABAT has grown into a vibrant community committed to social justice, anti-caste activism, and the teachings of Dr. B.R.   • Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din: ABAT commemorates the day Dr. Ambedkar embraced Buddhism on October 14, 1956, symbolizing his rejection of the caste system.abatusa.org+1abatusa.org+1
