Barrister Assauddin Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. He is the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party, which is primarily based in the southern Indian state of Telangana but has a presence in other parts of India as well.

Owaisi was born on May 13, 1969, in Hyderabad, Telangana. He completed his education in law and entered politics in the early 2000s. He was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1999 and has been a member of Parliament since 2004.

Owaisi is known for his speeches on Muslim issues and has been vocal in his criticism of the Indian government’s policies on issues such as communal violence, religious discrimination, and minority rights. He has also advocated for the protection of the rights of Muslims in India and has been a vocal critic of the Hindu nationalist agenda of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
