Babu L. N. Hardas was an Indian social reformer and politician who actively participated in the Indian independence movement. He was born on 22nd October 1912 in Maharashtra, India, and died on 12th June 1974.
Babu L. N. Hardas was actively involved in the Dalit movement and worked towards the upliftment of the Dalit community. He was associated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and was a member of the Scheduled Castes Federation.
Hardas was also actively involved in the Indian independence movement and was imprisoned several times for his participation in the freedom struggle. After India gained independence, he was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and served as a member of the assembly from 1957 to 1962.
Hardas was a prolific writer and contributed to several newspapers and magazines. He also authored several books on the Dalit movement, including “Vijay Pratibha” and “Mahar Vidrohi.”
