The great and inspirational life of Babasaheb Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar will be depicted by the Delhi government in a musical play.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made this announcement and said that Babasaheb has crores of fans and followers all over the world and I am one of them. The world’s biggest show about his life will start from February 25 in Delhi.
The grand show, which will run till March 12 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, will have two shows a day. Renowned artist Rohit Roy will play the role of Bhimrao Ambedkar.
The event will be organised in a huge manner. There will be a 100-foot stage, with a 40-foot revolving stage on top of that. The first show will start at 4 pm and the second show will start at 7 pm every day.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that this show is absolutely free for the public, but due to limited seats, tickets will have to be booked in advance. Interested people can book tickets by calling the mobile number 8800009938 or by visiting www.babasahebmusical.in.
The Delhi government had decided to organize a grand musical drama on the life of BR Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Divas. The play was earlier scheduled to start on January 5, but had to be postponed due to the third wave of coronavirus.
