Origin is an upcoming American drama film written and directed by Ava DuVernay . It is based upon Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson.
Origin was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, where it is set to premiere on September 6, 2023.
First Hollywood movie on Ambedkar.. ORIGIN MOVIE will have a special pre-release for the week December 8, 2023 at AMC Theaters in NYC New York and Los Angeles, California and will be released worldwide on January 19, 2024
